At Holland's Vanderbilt Charter Academy elementary and middle school, we expect teachers and parents to continuously work together to deliver the best educational experience for each child. Parents are encouraged to volunteer their time in the classroom, or during non-school hours.
Parents are always welcome and we even set aside a Parent Room at the school for parents to meet and volunteer.
The Parent School Association (PSA) organizes opportunities for parents to be involved school-wide. This association plans fund raisers, organizes community rewards programs, decides where to utilize monies earned among many other activities.
All parents are welcome and encouraged to participate in our many events and to serve as field trip drivers, copy parents, party planners and lunch helpers.
